Meet our Preschool Director Rebecca Weingarten

For nearly three decades, Rebecca Weingarten, M.Sc.Ed, MFA has  been at the forefront of educational development and innovation. She spent 20 years as an early childhood classroom teacher in private and public education, while also acting as a program creator, developer and educator, trainer and mentor at the city and state level. Her education and training includes extensive training in multiple modalities of mental health and the fine arts including creating educational, child and personal development programs. Rebecca spent time as Director of a joint NYC and NYS program where she oversaw the collaboration of over 35 youth serving agencies and leading multiple interagency taskforces including a groundbreaking interagency technology program that became a prototype for NYC’s 311 program.
